Who can have a Patient Portal Account?

Patients aged over 16 years of age. The patient must be registered with Girven Family Pratice.

What is my username and password?

Your username is the email address provided by you on the access form. You determine your own password when you create your portal account online.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Your Username is always the email you registered with. You can reset your password on the Patient Portal login page. Click “Forgot password” and a new temporary password will be sent to your email address. You can change your password at any time.

My account has been suspended, what should I do?

After 5 unsuccessful logins, a pop up box appears to notify that account is suspended and you will be asked to contact the Portal Administrator by email at admin@girvenfp.co.nz to reactivate your account.

When registering I get a message stating my ‘email is already registered’

You likely have another family member with the same email address in our system. Let us know and we can remove the email from your family member and they will need to register with their own.

Where do my medical records come from?

These are the medical records that the practice you registered with has within their Patient Management System. This is often referred to as primary care medical history.

If I change my email address, what should I do?

If you change your email address, please contact the portal administrator by email at admin@girvenfp.co.nz and request your email address is updated on your portal account. Once this is updated you will receive a new registration email, allowing you to link your portal to the new email address. This new email address will become your new portal username.

Is the Patient Portal secure?

Yes, the Patient Portal uses a secure, encrypted connection.

I’ve signed up for a patient portal before, do I have to do this again for MyIndici?

As this is a different patient portal you will need to register to use this. Manage My Health is now not connected to Girven Family Practice.
